1. About these Terms

These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern your use of the Vino Days website (vinodays.com) and the booking of any wine tasting tour or experience offered through it (each an "Experience"). Vino Days curates and provides wine tasting tours and experiences on the Costa Blanca, Spain, including in Albir, l'Alfàs del Pi, Altea and La Nucía.

In these Terms, "Vino Days", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the Vino Days business. "You" refers to the person booking or taking part in an Experience. You can contact us at hello@vinodays.com.

By booking an Experience or using the website, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not book or use the site.

2. How booking and payment work

Vino Days is the provider of the Experiences. To make booking and payment simple and secure, reservations are taken through a checkout provided by our booking partner, Panion (operated by Peeps Travel), which is embedded on our site and hosted at panion.travel.

When you book:

  • Vino Days designs and is responsible for the Experience itself.
  • Panion acts as the booking platform and the merchant of record for the payment. Payment is collected by Panion through its payment processor (Stripe Connect). Vino Days does not receive or store your full card details.
  • The Experience is managed and operated using the Bokun reservation system, which handles availability, confirmations and each Experience's cancellation policy.

Your use of the Panion checkout is also subject to Panion's own terms and privacy notice. Please read them before you pay: Panion Terms and Panion Privacy.

3. Your booking contract

When you complete checkout, you will receive a booking confirmation by email. A binding contract for the Experience is formed when that confirmation is issued. Please check your confirmation carefully and tell us straight away if any detail is wrong.

All prices are shown in the currency stated at checkout and include any applicable Spanish VAT (IVA) unless stated otherwise. The price, date, time, meeting point and main details of each Experience are shown before you confirm.

4. Cancellations, changes and refunds

Each Experience has its own cancellation policy, which is shown to you on the booking page and in your confirmation, and is administered through the Bokun reservation system. That policy forms part of your contract and tells you the deadline for a free cancellation and whether and how a refund is given.

To cancel or change a booking, contact us at hello@vinodays.com as early as possible, quoting your booking reference. Refunds, where due, are processed back through Panion to the original payment method.

Right of withdrawal: Experiences are leisure services provided on a specific date or within a specific period. Under Spanish consumer law (Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007, article 103(l)), the statutory 14 day right of withdrawal does not apply to such services. The cancellation policy shown for each Experience applies instead.

5. Taking part in an Experience

Wine tastings involve the consumption of alcohol. By booking, you confirm that everyone in your party who will taste wine is of legal drinking age in Spain (18 years or older). We may ask for proof of age and may refuse service, without a refund, where age cannot be shown or where a guest appears intoxicated.

Please drink responsibly and never drink and drive. You are responsible for arranging safe transport to and from the Experience.

Please arrive at the stated meeting point on time, follow the reasonable instructions of your host, and tell us in advance of any allergies, dietary needs or accessibility requirements so we can do our best to help. Latecomers may not be able to join, and we cannot offer a refund for arrivals that miss the start.

6. Changes or cancellation by us

Occasionally we may need to change or cancel an Experience, for example because of low numbers, host availability, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control such as extreme weather, illness, strikes or government measures (force majeure). If we cancel, we will offer you an alternative date where possible or a full refund of the price paid for the Experience.

7. Our responsibility to you

We provide the Experiences with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by your own acts, including failure to follow safety instructions or the responsible-drinking guidance above. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Spanish law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this website (text, design, logos, photographs and code) belongs to Vino Days or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without our written permission, except where the law allows.

9. Privacy

We handle personal data in line with our Privacy Policy. Personal data you enter into the Panion checkout to book and pay is handled by Panion under its own privacy notice.

10. Complaints and disputes

If something is not right, please contact us first at hello@vinodays.com and we will try to put it right. As a consumer in the EU, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your booking is the one in force when you booked. The latest version is always published on this page.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes will be subject to the courts determined by the applicable rules of jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory right you have as a consumer to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
