Vino Days curates wine tasting experiences and tours on the Costa Blanca — the stretch of coast around Albir, l'Alfàs del Pi, Altea and La Nucía that we're lucky enough to call home turf. We personally visit and vet every wine spot we list, so the only experiences you'll find here are the ones we'd happily send our own friends to.
Why the Costa Blanca?
Because it's one of Spain's most underrated wine regions, hiding in plain sight behind the beaches. This is DO Alicante country: bold Monastrell reds from the sun-baked inland valleys, aromatic Moscatel de Alejandría whites from vineyards near the sea, and Fondillón — the region's historic aged wine that you genuinely cannot taste anywhere else in the world. Most visitors never get past the sangría. We think that's a shame, and fixing it is more or less our whole job.
How booking works
Everything on Vino Days is booked direct — no faceless middlemen, no reselling. Pick an experience, choose a date and party size, and pay through our secure Panion checkout; you'll get your confirmation by email within minutes, and the people who welcome you on the day are the same local hosts who pour the wine. Groups are kept small on purpose. A tasting where you can't ask questions is just drinking in formation.
What to expect at a tasting
No wine knowledge is required — genuinely none. Our experiences are built for curious people, whether it's your first guided tasting or your fiftieth. Expect a relaxed table, a handful of carefully chosen wines poured in a deliberate order, and a host who's good at helping you put words to what's in your glass. Expect to disagree with your neighbour about what you're smelling. Expect to be wrong about which wine was the expensive one — everyone is, and it's the best part.
Tastings involve alcohol, so guests need to be 18 or over, and we'll always encourage you to plan your transport home before the first pour.
